This webinar took place on 12 February 2024. It was organised by Spanish think tank Transición Verde as part of the Green European Foundation's transnational project Geopolitics of a Post-Growth Europe. This project aims to start a conversation between critics of economic growth and geopolitical thinkers, who now often operate in separate circuits.
The webinar was moderated by lawyer and publisher Lourdes Lucía. It kicked off with a presentation of the report Geopolitics of a Post-Growth Europe by project leader Richard Wouters. Econometrician and sustainability researcher Gaya Herrington responded from the perspective of well-being economics. Geopolitical expert Jesús A. Núñez did so from the perspective of global human security. The speakers also answered a series of questions from the moderator and the audience.
